Senior Java/J2EE Architect

Description:
To help continue our success, we are in search of a talented and experienced Senior Architect for our TekReliance Technical Architecture team.The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the definition and design of the Enterprise Information Technology architecture for TekReliance , Inc., with a focus on application development technologies. This includes the design and development of the Information Technology roadmap and the recommendation and approval of IT standards for hardware, software, and network technologies. The selected individual will be involved in technical reviews of applications developed based on the defined roadmap. This individual serves as a liaison between the infrastructure and development teams and acts as a technology consultant to these areas

Qualifications & Requirements:

•     Minimum of 8 years experience using JAVA/J2EE/EJB/ Servlets, Struts, JSP, JDBC, Javascript, HTML, OOAD, UML, XML,    HTML and Java Script.
•     Minimum 5 years experience developing Java Applications on UNIX.
•     5-8 years of experience in the design and development using Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies.
•     Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
•     Strong presentation skills required.
•     Ability and willingness to travel internationally a plus.
•     In depth knowledge and experience in several of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, C/C++, RDBMS, MS SQL, Oracle, Unix, IBM, SOAP, XML
•    Prefer experience working within the Healthcare Service Industry.
•     The applicant should be able to design, code, implement and test Java applications.
•    Managed a product from concept to release: Architectured, designed and developed key components. >
•     Addressed issues of performance, scalability, reliability, extensibility, manageability and security.
•     Lead both internal and offshore product development from the company's U.S . headquarters.
•     Produced business and functional requirements, technical architectures, deployment and post-deployment planning.
